Holly was a gorgeous TT bitch. Born in April 1996 she did
well at show and produced a couple of lovely show puppies, during her
short time with us.
Collecting Holly from the breeder is a story in itself, as Holly came into
our lives quite by chance...
We had gone to Oxford to collect Amber from the breeder and whilst there
we spotted a shy, little black TT girl, hiding under a cupboard. We coaxed
this little scrap out. She was so cute with her big brown eyes, and
delicate frame. All the experts say 'don't buy the shy one' but this
little pup had so much appeal that we had to take her.. so we came away
with Amber (Matsang Lady Amber)... AND Holly :-)
Holly blossomed into a beautiful young bitch with so much character and
energy. Talk about the ugly duckling into the swan...that was Holly! She
was gorgeous, mischievous, cocky, gentle, loving, playful ...She soon took
over the household ;-)
A friend suggested showing her and that's when our lives changed.
Training Holly was a dream... She was so clever and loved the challenge.
She was a natural. In the show ring you could just read her thoughts in
her face...puffing out her chest, standing perfectly without a hint of
movement and thinking to herself "ok, you've looked at those
lot, I'm the best, look at me!!" ;-) She was just short
of a couple of points that would have qualified her for Crufts.
Holly took a break from showing and had a couple of
litters. At least three of her puppies went on to be show dogs in
their own right (Lapsang Storm Master, Lapsang Haunter). One of them
qualifying for Crufts (Lapsang Haunter) . Another went into Theatre work
as a 'dog actor', and one became a P.A.T dog.

We sadly lost Holly in 2002 when she became very ill
during a pregnancy
and passed away with her babies. |

Lady Eostre with Lapsang
Lapsang Storm Master, pet name Jack, was born January 1998 from
Holly's first litter. A handsome black dog oozing potential. Jack was
shown at Open shows as a puppy and received Best Puppy in Breed in August
1998.

and we lost him days later,
aged only 8 months. |

Lady Eostre with Lapsang
Lapsang Haunter, pet name Hattie, born September 2000 and
lives in Lancashire.
Hattie has been exhibited in Open, Championship and Breed shows and qualified
for Crufts 2003. Hattie has also gained her Bronze Good Citizen Award.
KC/BVA Hip score: 11 Eye Test: Clear
Unfortunately Hattie's owner refuses to let us have any pictures of Hattie
to put on the web site, but we have obtained photo's of Hocus Pocus,
Hattie's daughter, who looks like her grandmother Holly, and is also
making her way in the show ring.
